Mr. Hayes is an accomplished strategist, leader, and technical manager who – for over 20 years – has built and led teams to success in product definition, go-to-market-strategy and service delivery, focused particularly in AI and Internet of Things (IoT). Teams led by Mr. Hayes have delivered groundbreaking IOT and AI solutions at global scale. Over the years, Mr. Hayes has also advised and mentored numerous startups through seed investment and launch, leading to significant exits for founders and investors.
Mr. Hayes has had a long and successful career as a startup CEO, General Manager and Senior Director at public and private AI and Internet of Things (IoT) companies including General Manager for SureID in Portland, Oregon; CEO of TeleTrust in Seattle, Washington; and manager of cross-functional technical and marketing teams at Intel, PARC, Vulcan, Microsoft and Adobe. He was an early AI innovator at both Vulcan Labs and PARC, helping to define the NLP and ML protocols now used broadly across the AI industry.
Most recently, Ned managed customer success for global telco clients for leading AI startup ASAPP. Prior to that, as GM he led SureID to its next stage of growth in the multi-billion-dollar identity and authentication markets with nationwide deployment of a proprietary IoT/software system in all 50 states. Ned’s previous successes in IoT and AI at Intel include delivery of the OpenVINO computer vision toolkit and the Intel Context Sensing SDK for IoT, co-winner with Dell of the 2019 CES Innovation Award.
